Since the opening of ExCeL’s International Convention Centre, ExCeL have successfully hosted several major international congresses, including the 40th IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation 2023 and the International Liver Congress 2022. We will support event organisers in delivering against ESG ambitions and reporting the impact generated, to help you leave a meaningful and positive impact on communities, through the development of our legacy framework and toolkit. We also aim to be a sustainable leader within the events industry, by shaping the future of events into one that is net zero, resource efficient and equitable.
ExCeL will open its 25,000 sqm expansion in October 2024, making it the largest integrated exhibition and convention centre in Europe. The new event space will offer an additional state-of-the-art convention centre, together with exhibition halls and conference rooms, all seamlessly integrated into the existing venue. The ExCeL London Waterfront is also getting a transformation and will provide exclusive immersive experiences and hospitality, as well as new outdoor event spaces. The venue has also been investing in new and innovative digital, all contributing to the delegate experience.
Our 100,000sqm venue has a variety of state-of-the-art event spaces for different configurations, which can be adapted to suit all needs and budgets. Some of our larger venue spaces include the Event Halls, a blank canvas environment that can be divided to create the exact footprint of space for your event, the UK’s largest flexible Auditorium with fully adaptable seating configurations and the ICC Capital Hall with over 4,000 sqm of adaptable space.
